Horror Cinema Haunt 2010: Props & Decorations

Hello,

I'm a huge Halloween addict from the UK. Fed up of h
ardly anyone making an effort to decorate their homes during the scary-season, I have decided to go all out on my house this year.

The theme I have chosen is an abandoned h
aunted 'Horror Cinema'.

Currently I only have just a few of the props I'm intending on using for the display, however heres my ideas:
I have a large window at the front of my house, spli
t into three sections.

The largest window will have a mock red cinema st
yle curtain with a bloodied sheet behind, covered in hand prints and child-like writing, saying: 'Horror Cinema - Now Showing: Your Funeral'

The two smaller windows will house the 'Tickets' and 'Concessions' stands.

The ticket stand will again have a bloody backgr
ound with 'Tickets' written in blood, with a scene setter picture skeleton breaking through the window.

The concessions stand will feature strung up ar
ms and other props such as hearts/brains and eyeball popcorn (pictured below).

Pumpkin/Skull lights will illuminate all of this (pictur
ed below).

The top windows of the
house will feature movie-character cut outs like Jason/Freddy.

There will be cobwebs all over the wall surroundin
g the house/gate and the front door will be taped up with a 'Caution' banner.

I'm also intending on playing famous horror mo
vie themes such as - Halloween, Saw, Exorcist, Nightmare On Elm Street and more.

Below are a few pictures of some of the props I have bought so far:

PROPS -
Here are some decorations I'll be using for the inside of the house.

DECORATIONS:

Yankee Candle 'Candy Corn' scent mini-candles. They smell incredible and will be great inside a Pumpkin.

The Ghost/Pumpkin candle holder I picked up from my local £1....its great.

Also, the little hand-gel is Marshmallow scented!!

Check back soon! I'll be updating with more props and pictures
